This course intensively describes the set of methodologies and technologies a software engineer requires in addition to development processes and testing strategies. These are vital pre-requisites for a professional and predicable software development and form the base for software project management.

Target

Upon completion of this course the student should be able to

  • - Perform a requirement analysis (for patients and products) also based on existing norms
  • Track requirements throughout the entire software development process
  • Know typical risks in software projects and how to assess and manage these (risk management)
  • Manage the processes related to software updates and upgrades (change & configuration management)
