Live Session "AI-Supported Software Development"

Cheerful People Listening to a Seminar
Experience what AI-driven software development can really do – without empty promises!
Cheerful People Listening to a Seminar
Experience what AI-driven software development can really do – without empty promises!

Chatbots, image and video generators, agents – the AI hype train is unstoppable. AI-supported software development has also been a topic of discussion for some time. However, its potential for serious product development is difficult to assess, especially since public discourse contains contradictory statements.

That's why our live session is designed to give you, from developers to executives, a concrete idea of what AI coding tools can do in practice, what pitfalls they entail, and how we can respond to them in a meaningful way.

Learn to better assess the potential for your projects

Yes, AI can accelerate software development. However, the productivity gains vary greatly for non-trivial products, depending on the type of project, task, and phase. The principles behind this can be learned.

We have not yet received any written feedback on this session.

Learn more about how to deal with limitations in a sensible way

Large language models can hallucinate, and this also affects AI coding tools. The quality of the output varies, as does the predictability of this quality. Let's discuss what this means for the serious use of such tools!

Discover useful ways of working

AI coding tools can be fascinating, but they can also lead us into dangerous territory. Real-world use, therefore, requires new ways of working that take some time to get used to. Spoiler alert: “vibe coding” belongs on YouTube, not in your project.

Gain insights into figures and background information

It's not just LLMs that can hallucinate, but also public figures and tech giants who have put all their eggs in the AI basket. A few figures and some background information help to put advertising claims and doomsday fantasies into perspective.

Further Information

Learning Content

The live session will cover the following topics:

  • Using one of the leading AI coding tools, we will tackle a sample product and reflect on the experience together.
  • The key question of what we can realistically expect from such tools will always be at the center of our discussion. This much can be revealed: From surprising partial successes to epic fails, everything is likely to be included.
  • We will develop a concrete understanding of what quality and probability of success can be expected for different types of tasks.
  • Specific tips on tools and models
Learning Objectives
  • A very concrete idea of what AI coding actually means
  • A clear understanding of what AI coding tools can and cannot do (performance versus limitations)
  • Clarity on what requirements the company must meet (such as training, infrastructure, procedures, etc.)
  • Learn approaches for significantly more efficient software development
Target Group

The live session is aimed at, for example:

  • Software Developers, Programmers
  • Software Architects
  • Executives, e.g., team and development leaders
  • Product and Project Managers who are responsible for development planning
Requirements for Participation
  • A screen large enough to follow processes shown via screen sharing
  • Minimal technical understanding – programming experience is not necessary, but at least some engagement with development projects, such as that gained by development leaders or product managers
What happens after registration?

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing the meeting link, the time, and information about the participants.

An invoice will be sent to you within the next 48 hours, with a payment term of 14 days. If this payment term is not feasible for your company, please send a short e-mail to [email protected] to find a solution.

Three days before our online seminars and workshops, you will receive two e-mails: The first contains the final link to the seminar and the second contains the access data to a cloud folder in which you will find documents for preparation, exercises, and presentations.

If the seminar or workshop takes place in person, you will also receive the access link to your seminar documents three days before the date of the event. We will also provide documents in digital form for in-person events.

How is the session conducted?

The live session takes place either in person or online.

Our online/remote seminars and workshops are conducted via the video conferencing tool MS Teams.
